Project Summary:
This Co-Creation Challenge introduces the philosophy and practices of Peace Psychology, developed by renowned spiritual author Akif Manaf, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Rooted in psychological insight, inner transformation, and promoting nonviolence, this initiative aims to foster a peaceful society by encouraging individuals to discover and cultivate inner peace as a foundation for global harmony.

Free distribution of excerpts and educational materials (QR code access or limited handouts)
Workshops on nonviolent communication, empathy, and emotional awareness
Cultural exchange through stories, language, and collaborative peace messages from international partners
Youth participation: Encouraging the next generation to reflect on what peace means in their lives and communities
On-site peace message table: Participants write their vision of peace to be displayed publicly
Optional guided reflection or meditation for inner calm and social responsibility
Purpose / Theme Alignment:
This initiative supports "Designing Future Society for Our Lives" by exploring how psychological and spiritual practices can prevent conflict and create inclusive, compassionate communities. By fostering dialogue across cultures, generations, and disciplines, we co-create a world where peace is not only a global goal but a personal practice.
Collaborators:
International Peace Association (France/Japan)
Akif Manaf, author of Peace Psychology
Local volunteers and global peace supporters
情報発信・PR: To maximize the impact of our peace education initiative, we seek support in disseminating information through Expo 2025-related media, networks, or partner platforms. Our project promotes the global philosophy of Peace Psychology and encourages inner transformation as a foundation for building a peaceful society. By sharing our message widely—both within Japan and internationally—we can inspire more individuals, especially youth and educators, to take part in peacebuilding efforts.
We hope to reach:
Japanese and international visitors who value mental health, education, and nonviolence
Schools, peace NGOs, and families interested in psychological and intercultural tools for future society
Audiences who may not attend in person but could access content digitally
Expo-based dissemination will help us raise awareness about the importance of cultivating peace from within, and how this contributes to the theme of Peace and Designing Future Society in our Lives.
Japan, Korea, China, and Southeast Asian Nations
Any experts in the field of peace or psychology, as well as community members such as students, instructors, and media/music creatives who can contribute to visual content to spread the message of how to garner a peaceful psychology.
This project relates to the Osaka 2025 Expo due to it's focus on (1) Inner Peace as the Foundation for Social Change
Peace Psychology introduces the idea that a peaceful society begins with self-awareness, emotional regulation, and inner transformation. The project promotes these ideals through:
Workshops on emotional awareness, nonviolent communication, and empathy, helping individuals gain the tools to build harmonious relationships in their communities.
Guided reflections or meditations, cultivating responsibility and emotional clarity in a fast-changing world.
→ This aligns with the Expo’s vision of a well-being-centered society that prioritizes both mental health and social harmony.
(2) Cross-Cultural Co-Creation and Global Solidarity
Activities such as international peace dialogues, multilingual storytelling, and collaborative messages
