私たちの共創チャレンジ

全体的な廃棄物発生量(紙/カートン、プラスチック、金属、ガラス、一般廃棄物など、有害廃棄物、資材の再利用率、寄付資材などを記録し、
様々なリサイクル業者と連携をして廃棄物削減プログラムを確立したいと考えています。

Monitor overall waste generation (paper/carton, plastic, metal, glass, general waste, hazardous waste, etc.,
Monitor materials reuse rate.
Quantify the materials that donated or giveaway and establish waste reduction awareness program.

Achieving circular economy through sustainable consumption and production patterns

きっかけ

ES Global は、最高品質のコンポーネントと材料を選択することにより、足場やトラスシステムなどの材料を少なくとも 25 年間再利用しており、循環性の実践を誇りに思っています。成功例の 1 つは、2000 年から 2002 年にかけてロンドンミレニアムドームのスカイスケープの映画館建設のために設計および委託されたトラスシステムです。このトラスシステムは、2012 年ロンドン大会の水球アリーナの建設にも再利用されました。その後、同じシステムとその他の再利用資材がジャカルタで開催される 2018 年アジア競技大会の競輪場で再利用され、最終的に常設会場となりました。さらに、当社の資材展開および耐用年数追跡システムにより、2020 年東京オリンピックおよびパラリンピック競技大会から資材の 90% 以上を回収することができました。
2022 年の日本オフィス移転の際に、多数の事務機器を多くの団体 (ワールドギフトや NPO 法人 TENOHASI など) に寄贈しました。

取組の展開

今後展開したい地域・方法	効率的な廃棄物追跡システムを提供するDX会社や廃棄事業者、リサイクル事業者との協力を拡大し、各地のビジネスパートナーとの協働を通して、建設業界における循環型社会の実践を推進していきたいと考えています。 We would like to expand our network within Japan, creating collaborative opportunities with local recyclers and disposal companies, as well as promoting circularity practices within the construction industry.

大阪・関西万博のテーマとの関わり

環境に配慮したビジネス提供のみに留まらず、再利用の原則に基づき、国連の持続可能な開発目標（UN SDGs）を持続可能性の枠組みの策定をしております。ESグローバルでは、万博テーマである「いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン」にあるように、より持続可能なアプローチで革新的な機会を創出し、様々な地域の共創パートナーと協力して、消費と生産パターンを通じた循環型経済の実現に取り組んでいます。

Aiming beyond ethical business practices and building on the principle of re-usability, we are also focused on formulating a strategic action plan with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) embedded in our sustainability framework. At ES Global, as EXPO theme states "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," we ensure we are creating memorable moments with a more sustainable approach and committed to work with various local Co-creation Partners on achieving circular economy through sustainable consumption and production patterns.

SDGsとの関わり

ES Globalは、再利用性の原則に基づき、循環型経済の形成に注力し、環境への配慮を高めながら、ダイバーシティな雇用にも力を入れております。日々の活動を通じて社会と環境にプラスの影響を与えるドライブに取り組み、業界におけるこの分野のリーダーとなるべく努力しています。私たちは事業活動を評価し、私たちの事業運営に最も関連性の高い国連の持続可能な開発目標（UN SDGs）を特定しました。また、対応するSDGsに優先順位をつけ、サステナビリティフレームワークにSDGsを組み込んだ戦略的なアクションプランを策定しています。

Building on the principle of re-usability, ES Global is focusing on creating circular economy, increasing environmental awareness and proactively applying diverse hiring. We committed to the drive for a positive social and environmental impact through its daily activities, as we strive to become the leader of this sector in our industry. We have evaluated our business activities and identified certain United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) that are most related to our business operation. We have also prioritised the corresponding SDGs and formulated a strategic action plan with the embedded SDGs in our sustainability framework.
