本プロジェクトは、炭団を使って輝ける未来を創ることを目指し、2025年に始めました。
This project was launched in 2025 with the aim of creating a brighter future using charcoal briquettes(TADAN).

間伐材、竹を焼却したときの炭化物や、木炭、竹炭の端材を固めたオリジナルの形の炭団(たどん)を高所から落としたときに欠けないように工夫する体験学習イベントです。参加者は決められた量の紙を用い、クッション、パラシュートなど衝撃を吸収する形を創造し、ときに協力して試行錯誤しながら問題解決能力を鍛えます。

This is an experiential learning event where participants try to create original shaped charcoal lumber (tadon) made from carbonized waste from thinnings and bamboo incineration, as well as wood and bamboo charcoal scraps, so that they can withstand being dropped from a height without breaking.

Using a set amount of paper, participants create cushions, parachutes, and other shock-absorbing shapes, sometimes working together to hone their problem-solving skills through trial and error.

限られた材料と条件の中、楽しさとSDGsを組み合わせて、考える力を養います。また、イベント、季節、地域の特性に応じた炭団の形により、地域特性を参加者に感じてもらうことに繋げます。

Participants will develop their thinking skills by combining fun with the SDGs under limited materials and conditions. In addition, participants will be able to feel the local characteristics by making charcoal pellets in accordance with the event, season, and local characteristics.

廃棄される端材が緩衝材として活用する発想のトレーニングをすることで、廃棄がない世界づくりに繋げます。

エネルギーをもった、いろんな形の炭を守るチャレンジを通して、エネルギーを廃棄しているもので守ることの思考を養います。
Through the challenge of protecting various forms of charcoal that contain energy, we will develop ideas about protecting energy from things that are otherwise discarded.
