本事業は、こども達が輝ける未来を創ることを目指し、2024年に立ち上げました。
This project was launched in 2024 with the aim of creating a bright future for children.

炭団は炭の粉を使って成型した炭のことで、昔、竈や焚き火で残った消炭は炭団として成型し、燃料や暖をとるために使われていました。炭を余すことなく使う昔の人の知恵でしたが、今は言葉自体も伝わっていない状態となっています。

バーベキュー後や間伐材処理で残った消炭を細かく粉砕し、星型や三角に成型する炭団つくりワークショップを行い、資源活用、SDGs、脱炭素、防災、文化を伝える活動を進めています。
We hold workshops to make charcoal briquettes, which are made by finely crushing and molding charcoal left over after BBQs or thinning wood processing, and we are promoting activities to convey resource utilization, SDGs, decarbonization, disaster prevention, and culture.

炭団つくりは、欠けた炭、折れた炭、燃焼した残りなど、今ではクズ扱いにされている炭を使っています。欠けたり、折れたりが、なんだか人の心にも重なる気がして、炭団を花型などの様々な形にアップサイクルしてワクワクを届けることで、心もアップサイクルして、ワクワクで溢れる世界創りを目指しています。
To make charcoal bunkers, we use charcoal that is now considered trash, such as chipped charcoal, broken charcoal, and burnt remains. We feel that chipped and broken charcoal somehow overlaps with the human heart, so by upcycling charcoal bunkers into various shapes such as flower shapes and delivering excitement, we aim to upcycle the heart as well and create a world filled with excitement.

また、間伐材は、枝葉、根、腐敗状況など、搬送しにくい課題など、木材やバイオマスに活用しにくいものもあり、間伐が進みにくいことがあります。形が整わなくても炭化することで、ワクワクする炭団つくりの原料になるなどで、間伐を継続的に進めることに寄与したいと考えています。

廃棄されているエネルギーをもった炭。形が小さくなってもエネルギーを持つ存在を形を変えることで価値をアップサイクルして興味を示してもらえる姿に変えています。
By changing the shape of discarded charcoal, which contains energy, we are turning it into something that piques people's interest.

アップサイクルが利用価値に加えて、笑顔を創ることで、笑顔に引き寄せられて積極的に資源活用したくなり、自然に持続な環境づくりに繋げています。限りある資源を楽しみながら循環する仕組みを世界に届けたいです。
In addition to adding value, creating smiles makes people want to actively use resources, which leads to the creation of a sustainable environment. We want to bring this system of recycling resources while having fun to the world.
